Policia e Kosovës ka bërë një njoftim të ri në lidhje me zhvillimet e fundit në very të vendit.
Sipas kësaj komunikate intensiteti i sulmeve ndaj policisë ka rënë, por situate vazhdon të jetë e tensionuar. Gjithashtu Policia ka bërë të ditur se brenda objekteve përcjellëse të manastirit, janë gjetur dhjetëra, qindra armë.

Si rezultat i përkushtimit dhe angazhimit të njësiteve relevante policore, në kuadër të perimetrit të caktuar të sigurisë është arrestuar edhe sulmuesi i dytë, i cili gjithashtu ka qenë në uniformë ushtarake dhe i armatosur me armë të gjata dhe municion.
Deri më tani sipas informacioneve nga terreni tre sulmues janë vrarë, janë arrestuar dy sulmues dhe katër persona të dyshuar të cilët ishin hasur nën posedim ilegal të radiolidhjeve, e të cilët dyshohet se ndërlidhen me grup terroristë.
Në orët e vona intensiteti i sulmeve ndaj zyrtarëve policorë ka rënë, por situata e sigurisë ende vazhdon të jetë e tensionuar, përderisa njësitet policore gjatë kontrollit në disa lokacione, objekte banimi dhe në disa automjete që janë përdorur nga grupi terrorist për bllokim të rrugëve, përfshirë automjetet që kanë qenë përreth manastirit në Banjskë, janë gjetur të mbushura përplot me arsenal armësh.
Sipas informacioneve fillestare bëhet fjalë për gjetjen e dhjetëra, qindra armëve të llojeve dhe kalibrave të ndryshëm, uniforma dhe pajisje logjistike, përfshirë armë ushtarake të kalibrit të rëndë si granata, zolla, mitralozë, kallashnikov etj. etj.
